Esaí is a first year MA student currently interested in queer anticolonial activism in Puerto Rico. He is committed to exploring, through the lens of performance studies, the ways in which music and dance influence activism. His work is heavily influenced by queer theory, queer of color critique, affect theory, critical race theory, and decolonial/anticolonial political theory.
