Day of the Badger in Gender & Women’s Studies

The Day of the Badger (DoTB) is a campus-wide online day of giving.  This year’s DoTB event will take place on April 16-17, 2024.

The Day of the Badger experience will unite Badgers – students, faculty, alumni, friends, and supporters – to give to their passion, show their pride, and stay connected to the university. Gender & Women’s Studies hopes that you’ll join us to help celebrate this year. U-Rah, Rah!

Everyone who loves UW–Madison is welcome and encouraged to participate. The goal is to unite Badgers in an effort to advance the mission of the university by bringing awareness to its achievements and raising critical funds to help the UW remain a world-class educational institution.

How can you participate?

  1. Make an impact by giving to Gender & Women’s Studies!
  2. Show your pride by wearing Badger red and posting to your social media using #DayoftheBadger. Tag Gender & Women’s Studies on Facebook, or Instagram!
  3. Connect with UW & GWS alumni, friends, and supporters through events like the Day at the Capitol in Madison, by reaching out to your local chapter, or by joining the conversation on social media at #DayoftheBadger.

Give to Gender & Women’s Studies during the Day of the Badger!

Gifts received by the Department of Gender & Women’s Studies during the Day of the Badger campaign will help to support academic excellence among our students, promote undergraduate and graduate student research, fund student professional development opportunities, including attending conferences, sponsor student internship experiences, and foster student leadership opportunities.
