Each PhD student will be assigned a faculty advisor before entering the PhD program. Your faculty advisor(s) will be a key source of guidance for your academic development. For more information, you can review the Advising Compact section from the PhD Program Handbook
Graduate students are also supported by the Director of Graduate Studies and the Graduate Program Manager. The Graduate Program Manager also serves as the advisor for the Graduate/Professional Certificate in Gender and Women’s Studies and the PhD Minor in Gender and Women’s Studies.
