GWS Professor Sami Schalk will be awarded the LGBTQ Advocate of the Year by Madison’s OutReach LGBT Community Center.
This award commemorates Professor Schalk’s accomplishments, during the past year as well as over the course of her life, that advance the equality and quality of life for LGBT people.
Professor Schalk will be honored for this award at the 27th annual Awards Banquet at Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Monona Terrace.
