Melvina Young has taken her experience in gender and women’s studies, women’s history, and African-American Studies classrooms and has developed a line of greeting cards as a senior writer at Hallmark. Melvina Young, Class of ’90, ’92, and ’06, double-majored in Gender & Women’s Studies and Afro-American studies, earned her Master’s Degree in African-American Studies, and her PhD in Women’s History.
