GWS Chair Judith Houck Receives the Chancellor’s Inclusive Excellence Award

The Department of Gender and Women’s Studies is pleased to announce Dr. Judith Houck — Gender & Women’s Studies Chair,  and Professor of Gender & Women’s Studies, and History — has been honored with the Chancellor’s Inclusive Excellence Award, from the UW-Madison Distinguished Teaching Awards Committee.

This prestigious award celebrates UW-Madison Faculty and Instructional Staff for achievements in teaching which exemplify the University of Wisconsin’s values of diversity and inclusion. In particular, it honors university educators who represent the spirit of the Wisconsin Idea through their creativity and inclusivity in the classroom and beyond.

Dr. Houck will be officially honored, along with other teaching award recipients in a ceremony held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 5pm in the Pyle Center.
