MA Student Research Award
Description: The GWS MA Student Research Award provides first year MA students with up to $1000 in funding to support research for the MA thesis. Eligible activities include, but are not limited to, travel to conduct research, purchase of necessary software or data, and registration fees for summer research institutes/workshops.
Eligibility: 1st year MA students
Application: Please submit a 1-page proposal that includes an outline and background for the project and a detailed budget breakdown of any requested funds by April 30. Here is the link to the submissions folder.
MA Student Service Award
Description: The GWS Graduate Student Service Award recognizes the contributions of students who have demonstrated a pattern of service throughout their time on campus. Service might include teaching/mentoring undergraduate students, mentoring new graduate students, serving on campus committees, advocating for more equitable campus policies, and/or contributing to student organizations.
Eligibility: Only second year MA students are eligible to apply.
Application: Awards are $1,000 and the short application is due April 15. Find more information in WiSH.
