Whitney Anderson

Whitney (she/her/hers) splits her time at UW-Madison as the Administrative Assistant in Gender & Women’s Studies, and as the Program Coordinator for the Open House Gender & Sexuality Learning Community in University Housing. As the Administrative Assistant in GWS, Whitney assists and works closely with the Department Administrator. Her educational background is in Psychology and Women’s and Gender Studies, and professional background includes experiences within Housing & Residence Life and Social Justice Education/Facilitation. Whitney is originally from Western Kentucky and attended undergrad in Evansville, IN and graduate school in Chicago, IL before moving to Madison with her partner in Fall 2017. Whitney is a Virgo and is passionate about social change, making education accessible for all, and empowering students.
