Geetanjali is a graduate student in the Department of Counseling Psychology and is training to become a mental health therapist. She is an international student from India and came to the US to pursue graduate studies in 2019 and is currently working as an intern at Mental Health Services – University Health Services (UHS). She is interested in working with sexual abuse and violence, women & sexual health and plans on specializing in trauma-focused treatments. She uses a multicultural and interpersonal approach in psychotherapy and wants to explore the role of intersectionality and culture in human behavior and development.
