Biography

Dr. Molly M. Henderson (she/her) studies the role of reproductive health and politics in shaping the environmental history of the late 20th century United States. She received her PhD in American Studies from George Washington University in the summer of 2025. Her writing has been published in Modern American History and was awarded the American Studies Association’s Annette Kolodny Prize. At UW-Madison, Dr. Henderson teaches courses on the history of reproductive health, rights, and politics, social reproduction and collective notions of care, and environmental social movements.
